“Biber”
A small submarine manned by one man, equipped with two torpedoes. The vessel was about 30 feet long, and had an Opel gas engine. Speed: 5 kts when diving, max depth: 30 m.

“Marder”

This was also a one-man submarine. Had one torpedo. About 25 feet long, this vessel could originally not dive. Newer versions could, but it was very slow – only about 2,7 kts.

“Molch”

Another one-man U-boat which carried two torpedoes. Same engine as the “Marder”, but had a speed of 5 kts when diving. Max depth: 40 m.

All these subs were equipped with a rubber emergency boat.

“Linsen”

This was not a submarine, length: 18 feet. Came in two versions, the smallest one had a crew of 3, and a weight of 800 kg. Radio-equipped. The bigger one had a weight of 1300 kg, but had a crew of just one. This version was in use in Norway. It carried a 348-kg warhead, had a speed of 30 kts, and was powered by a Ford (!)3,5 litres V 8 Otto gas engine. These vessels were operated in pairs, with a leading ship.
