Equipped with 6 x 15,5 cm K416 (f) guns, range 17 000 m. originally placed at Gamlemshaug. This battery was formed in Stuttgart in March 41. Combat ready in September 1942. “Feldpost” number 32120, subordinated to IV/HKAR 976.
The battery also had 2 x 5 cm PAK´s (KwK) AT guns, 1 x 4,5 cm PAK (r) AT gun, 1 x 5 cm mortar (g), 4 ex. Norwegian heavy MG´s, 20 “Abwehr 41” flame-throwers, 2 x 2 cm FLAK 38, 1 x 60 cm and 1 x 150 cm floodlights.
In the area were also two units of Marine-FLAK: one at Ervik (see below) with 4 x 10,5 cm SKC/32 guns, the other was at Kvamsöy, and had 4 x 7,5 cm French guns.

Consisted of two batteries, one with 2 x 21 cm L/45 Armstrong guns, range 10 000 m, used by the Norwegian coastal artillery from 1900. The other had 4 x SKC/28 guns, range 22 000 m. Ready on Christmas Eve 1942.

MKB 2/ 506 Hysnes
Consisted of two batteries, one had 2 x (ex-Norwegian) 21 cm L/45 Armstrong guns, range 10 000 m. The other had 2 (ex-Norwegian) x 15 cm L/47,5 Armstrong’s, range 15 000 m. During operation ”Tanne” one of these guns was sent out of Norway.

In Sandnessjöen was Seekommandant Sandnessjöen, CO: Kpt.z.See Freiherr von Lamezan, and army artillery CO: Maj Steinbach from HKAR 974.

HKB 8/ 974 Sörfold ( 890 )
Equipped with 4 x 8,8 cm Flak 37, range 16 000 m, and 6 x 7,5 cm K236(b), range 10 000 m. The FLAK guns belonged to 9.btt/A.R 14 (Luftwaffe)

HKB 7/ 971 Taarnvik
Equipped with 4 x 10,5 cm K331(f), range 12 000 m. Originally placed at Billefjord in Finnmark, evacuated during the Soviet invasion. Ready in April 45.

HKB 1/ 971 Sommernes
Equipped with 6 x 14,5 cm K405(f), range 18 500 m. Ready in March 45, but only with one operational cannon.

On the 3.6.1940 “HKB 955” armed with 3 x 21 cm Mrs mortars arrived in Brönnöysund, intended for Sörforld. It probably never got placed in this area.
