A Norwegian police unit is crossing a frozen lake somewhere in Sweden.
Line-up! The police units certainly got trained in military discipline! Todays order is barked across the small field.
By 1944, 7000-8000 men had been trained in Sweden. The reason for this crowd gathering is the 17.may, the Norwegian constitution day!
In addition to the Norwegian
flag, we can see the American, French, English, Polish, Chinese and another
unidentified flag (Perhaps Russian. ) Beneath the flags is the wording
"Vi vet hva frihet er" or roughly translated "We know what freedom is"
Note that the Swedish flag is not present.. |
