Narvik 1940

These pictures was taken by a member of an army
unit traveling from Germany To Narvik in Norway via Sweden.

The allies has evacuated Narvik, and left a harbor full of merchant and nay shipwrecks. 
The once so solid railway bridge has collapsed, and the sleepers has taken shape of a modern artwork, presumably not enjoyed by the germans.
The war has taken it's toll. Here are fallen comrades properly buried in a cemetery in Narvik.
