A tragic picture. A bomb
from one of the Ju-88's has hit the ship, and it's sinking. On the original
photo, it seems that there are a few persons still on board, trapped by
the fire. The caption to this photo says" Im mai 42 in Nordmeer getroffen
und ausgebrannt"
This boat probably belonged to the Convoy PQ-16 that was attacked on May 17, 1942. |
